The Shape of a Man
Acrylic paint, text, collaged poem by Mina Loi and string
42" x 45"
The poem stenciled was written by Mina Loy in 1920.
The skin sack packed all the completions of my infructuous impulses
Something the shape of a man
the casual vulgarity of the merely observant
more of a clockwork mechanism running down against time
to which I am not tuned
My fingertips are numb from fretting your hair
A God's doormat.
